Windows laminated wood
The windows produced by Domus SRL meet the conditions provided by HG 622/2004 regarding the establishment of conditions for the introduction of construction products on the market. They are also registered by the Permanent Technical Council for Construction (CTPC), in the Unique Register.
Profiles
The profiles are made in three layers of different essences (fir, oak or exotic essences – meranti, eucalyptus etc.). The profiles have a section of 68×80 mm or 78×80 mm, with a maximum allowed humidity of 10-12%. They are arranged fiber against fiber to cancel internal tensions and to exclude the possibility of tensioning over time. Lamination is done in special presses, with D4 class adhesives, resistant to moisture.
Lacquers
The lacquers used are ecological water-based lacquers Sikkens (Netherlands) or ICA (Italy). These give the joinery a silky appearance, resistant to moisture, ultraviolet, frost and repeated thawing.
Glass
The glass used for the exterior doors made of laminated wood is Ornament+Low-E glass, in 4-16-4 mm format, with a heat transfer coefficient of 1.4 W/mpK, offering superior thermal and sound insulation. Depending on the customer’s preferences, the doors can be personalized with any other type of glass, including stained glass.
Hardware
The exterior doors made of laminated wood are equipped with ROTO DOORSAFE hardware (Germany) with closure in five points and with adjustable 3D hinges, offering high security and functionality with possibilities for fine adjustments afterwards.
